Porsche Sprint Challenge France - Opening Race of the 24 Hours of Le Mans

Attention drivers!

 

We are pleased to provide you the registration request form for the Porsche Sprint Challenge France opening race of the 24 Hours of Le Mans as well as the main useful information to help you get organized for the event.

We have ensured that all activities are concentrated in one designated area of the Le Mans track : Maison Blanche.

 

HOSPITALITY

From Tuesday to Friday, the Porsche Experience Center will be exclusively privatized for the drivers of the Porsche Sprint Challenge France and their guests. The Porsche Experience Center will also be open nonstop during the 24 Hours of Le Mans, from Saturday to Sunday with the lounge terrace directly overlooking the Ford corners and the pit straight.

  • Porsche 991 GT2 RS Clubsport

  • Porsche 991 GT3 R

  • Porsche 997 GT3 R

  • Porsche 992 GT3 Cup

  • Porsche 991 GT3 Cup

  • Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport

  • Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 Clubsport

Porsche GT3 Cups will be fitted with an inlet restrictor identical to that used in the Porsche Carrera Cup France during the previous races held at the opening of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

 

ELIGIBLE DRIVERS

Amateur drivers with a national FFSA driver / competitor license. Amateur drivers with an equivalent non-French license can participate with an authorization to compete abroad delivered by their national regulatory body.

In accordance with the regulations of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, a minimum qualifying time corresponding to 130% of the pole position will be required to be authorized to participate to the race. Submitting an entry request does not imply its acceptance. The organizers reserve the right to refuse any entry which they do not consider in accordance with the spirit of the Porsche Sprint Challenge France.

 

TIME TABLE​​

  • Installation of the cars in their designated area on Monday, June 6th from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • Administrative and technical scrutineering, pilot briefings on Tuesday, June 7th from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

  • Free practice Wednesday, June 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 9:35 a.m and from 11:20 a.m. to 11:55 a.m.

  • Qualifying session on Thursday, June 9th from 8:50 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.

  • Race 1 on Thursday, June 9th from 1:35 p.m. to 2:20 p.m.

  • Race 2 on Friday, June 19th from 9:30 a.m. tou 10:15 a.m.

 

FUEL

Refueling must be carried out in the area provided for this purpose with fuel supplied by the official supplier of the Porsche Sprint Challenge France. No handling of fuel will be allowed in the pits or in the service trucks.

It is imperative that the cars take to the track with a full tank of fuel, whether for practice or for the race.

 

TIRES

Michelin tires will be supplied exclusively by Auvergne Pneumatiques Racing, which will be present on site to ensure delivery and assembly. For safety reasons, competitors can only take to the track with new tires marked by the organization.

 

ENTRY FEES

No submission of an entry form will be taken into account without full payment.

The entry fee is 6,800 € excluding VAT (8,160 € including VAT) for cars entered in the full 2021 season of the Porsche Sprint Challenge France. The entry fee is 7,500 € excluding VAT (9,000 € including VAT) for all other cars.

In addition to entering a car for the race, the entry fee includes:

  • 2 Porsche Experience Center Lounge Pack, including a 24 Hours paddock pass valid from Tuesday to Sunday. This gives access to the Porsche Experience Center Lounges from Tuesday morning to Friday afternoon. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are included as well as the Hyperpole evening on Thursday.

  • 2 Maison Blanche area car park passes.

  • 1 Maison Blanche area semi-truck park pass for 2 cars entered.

ADDITIONAL PACKS AND PARKING SPACES

In addition to the entry pack, it is possible to order additional packs and parking passes :

  • PEC Lounge packs

  • VIP Packs. VIP Packs include one Maison Blanche area pass valid from Tuesday to Sunday. It also gives access to the Porsche Experience Center Lounges from Thursday morning to Friday afternoon. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are included as well as the Hyperpole evening on Thursday.

  • 24 Hours Packs. 24 Hours Pack gives access to the Porsche Experience Center from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are included as well as the night of the 24 Hours of Le Mans from Saturday evening to Sunday.

  • Staff Packs. The Staff Pack, include one Maison Blanche area pass. It also gives access to the Porsche Experience Center Buffet from Tuesday morning to Friday afternoon, meals included.

  • Maison Blanche Area passes.

  • Car park, semi-truck park pass and motorhome park passes.
