60 Porsches for the opening of the 24 Hours of Le Mans - a Porsche Sprint Challenge France premiere.


The new official Porsche championship in France strikes hard in its first season by organizing a race to open the eighty-ninth 24 Hours of Le Mans on August 21, 2021.

The Porsche Sprint Challenge France, which is part of the Porsche Motorsport pyramid just below the Porsche Carrera Cup France, thus becomes the first competition reserved for gentlemen drivers to offer its drivers the extraordinary opportunity to race on the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit just hours before the start of the actual 24 Hours. The 45-minute race will take place on Saturday morning when all the partners, guests and official teams will already be present around the circuit.

It will be preceded by two free practice sessions of 45 minutes each and a qualifying session of 45 minutes as well.

In total, the gentlemen drivers who will compete at the wheel of 911 GT3 Cup and 911 GT3 R in accordance with the Porsche Sprint Challenge France regulations will have 3 hours of track time on this legendary track usually reserved for professional or semi-professional drivers.
